On the second day of our adventure, we will start with a traditional breakfast to delight your palate: freshly brewed coffee, natural juices, artisanal bread, and the classic Peruvian chicharrón.

Then, around 9:30 a.m., we will head to the Paracas dock for the required SERNAMP control. After this, we will begin our journey to the wonderful Ballestas Islands, one of the main attractions of the Peruvian coast.

On board modern speedboats, we will navigate for approximately two hours through the Pacific Ocean, exploring the marine environment. Along the way, we will briefly stop in front of the geoglyph known as "The Candelabra", where our guide will explain the various theories about its mysterious origin and purpose.

The journey continues to the Ballestas Islands, a natural sanctuary home to a wide variety of species such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds, and, with some luck, playful dolphins. Don’t forget your camera—unforgettable scenes await!

After this unforgettable experience, we will continue our journey to the city of Ica, a trip of about one hour. Our next stop will be the restaurant and vineyard “Cultur Pisco”, where you’ll enjoy a typical regional lunch. You’ll also tour the vineyards to learn about the wine and pisco-making process, finishing with a tasting of these artisanal drinks.

To end the day with excitement, we’ll visit one of the most popular places in Ica: the Huacachina Oasis. We'll hop on the famous dune buggies for a thrilling ride across the desert, and those who wish can try sandboarding down the sand hills. Finally, you’ll have free time to stroll around the oasis, take unique photos, or shop before wrapping up the day.

At around 5:00 p.m., we’ll return to Lima so you can rest at your hotel or prepare for our visit to the city of Cusco.

Afterward, we will head to the outskirts of Cusco to visit four prominent archaeological sites:

  • Sacsayhuamán, a majestic stone fortress located just a few kilometers from the city center.
  • Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial center associated with puma worship and ancient rituals.
  • Puca Pucara, the "red fortress", named for the reddish hue its walls take on at sunset.

On the sixth day, at the previously agreed time, we will head to the bus station to board the bus that will take us to the majestic Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, known as the “Lost City of the Incas.”

This archaeological complex, considered the highest expression of Inca architecture, was revealed to the world in 1911 by explorer Hiram Bingham. However, the citadel was already known to locals since 1902, and some credit its true discovery to Agustín Lizárraga, a Cusco farmer.

Once inside the citadel, we’ll take a guided tour of its most iconic structures, such as the Viewpoint, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Square, and other places of great historical and spiritual value.

After the visit, we’ll take the return bus to Aguas Calientes, where you'll have free time for lunch or to explore the town.

San Blas Street and the 12-Angled Stone

Welcome to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire, with a different proposal: to show you an authentic and human side of the city. We want you to discover the Cusco that lives in the daily life of many local families — the one that fills with pride those of us who were born in QOSQO, the navel of the Inka world.

If you're ready and want to make the most of your stay in Cusco, we invite you to join our optional experience “Cusco Behind the Scenes” — a special welcome detail created especially for you. Just let us know the time you'd like to begin.

In this experience, we will visit iconic places with a deep cultural focus:

  • Main Square of Cusco, known in Inka times as Jaukaypata, the “square of joy,” where important rituals to the universe were performed.
  • San Pedro Market, full of colors, aromas, and local products — perfect for discovering everyday life in Cusco.
  • We'll end with lunch at a traditional *picantería*, where you can taste the best of authentic Cusqueñan cuisine.

In addition, Cusco is a living museum that you can continue exploring at your own pace. You can visit:

  • The San Blas neighborhood, home to artisans and cradle of Cusqueñan folk art.
  • The famous 12-Angled Stone, an icon of Inka architectural perfection.
  • The impressive Cathedral of Cusco, which houses valuable works of art from the Cusqueña School.
