On our way to the Historic Center of Lima we will visit San Martin Square and the Main Square, with its distinctive buildings: Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica and the Municipal Palace.

We enter the monumental Convent of San Francisco, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America.

The Coral Hall and the Library of the Monks, the Sacristy, with its collection of canvases by Zurbarán and Rivera are appreciated. The Great Patio of the Main Cloister, finely decorated with 16th century Sevillian tiles, its beautiful Moorish arches and the Underground Crypts, known as the Catacombs, where you will feel the presence of the colonial past.
Then we will go to the most traditional modern or residential area of the capital: El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and Larco Mar.

Distinctive tourist center of current Lima and privileged point to appreciate a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. After enjoying a succulent buffet lunch in one of the best restaurants in Lima we will continue our tour to the Gold Museum of Peru to appreciate a dazzling collection of gold pieces from various pre-Columbian cultures, some with more than 3,000 years old.

It exhibits objects and jewelry of incalculable value, worked in gold, silver and precious stones, highlighting the ornaments and objects that in their time of splendor used the Incas, children of the Sun God and monarchs of the vast Inca Empire.

The fame of Peruvian gold attracted numerous European adventurers 500 years ago and was the cause of the end of the Inca empire, giving rise to the Viceroyalty of Peru.
