Then, we will move on to the Imperial City, the ancient capital of Tahuantinsuyu. There, we will walk along cobblestone streets and explore Inca temples and colonial churches.

From Cusco, we will head to the Sacred Valley and then reach one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu. This itinerary is designed for those with limited time but who want to experience the essentials of Peru, combining history, natural landscapes, and a dose of adventure.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to visit some of the tourist sites in Peru's capital.

Overnight stay: Lima

DAY 02: “ARRIVAL IN CUSCO - CITY TOUR”

We will begin the second day with your transfer from your hotel to the airport, where you will board your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, either at the airport or the bus terminal, one of our staff will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. After a cordial welcome, we will take you in our tourist transport to your reserved hotel. There you can settle in, relax, and get ready for the city tour.

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up to begin the tour of the tourist sites in the imperial city and its surroundings. During this experience, we will visit:

  • Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun): One of the most important religious centers in the Inca world, dedicated to the worship of the sun god Inti, whose walls still reflect the grandeur of this civilization.
  • Sacsayhuamán: An impressive stone complex, renowned for its megalithic walls and its privileged location overlooking the entire city.
  • Qenqo: An ancient ceremonial center carved into rock, used for religious rituals and offerings.
  • Pukapukara: An archaeological site believed to have been a military outpost or rest area, known for its reddish walls, giving it the name "red fortress."
  • Tambomachay: A sacred space associated with the worship of water, famous for its aqueducts and still-flowing fountains, symbols of purification.

At the end of the tour, we will return you to your hotel, where you can relax or, if you wish, continue exploring the city on your own.

Overnight stay: Cusco

DAY 03: “MACHU PICCHU TOUR”

Inca citadel of Machu Picchu

We will begin the day by picking you up from your hotel and making our way to the Ollantaytambo train station. There, we will board a tourist train with panoramic windows, from which you can enjoy the Andean landscapes as we head toward the town of Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

Once in Hot Waters, we will head to the tourist bus station to begin the climb up a mountain road, which will take approximately 25 to 30 minutes, until we reach the entrance to the sanctuary.

Remember that access to the citadel has specific times, so it's important to bring your ID or passport, the entrance ticket, and be ready well in advance.

Upon entering the archaeological site, we will take a guided tour of approximately two hours, exploring the main points of interest of the ancient Inca city, including:

  • The main viewpoint: From where you can enjoy the most iconic views of Machu Picchu.
  • The Temple of the Three Windows: A structure steeped in Inca symbolism.
  • The Intihuatana: A sundial and ceremonial center.
  • The Main Plaza: The meeting point and social center of the city.
  • And many other areas that reveal the architecture and wisdom of this great civilization.

At the end of the visit, we will return by bus to Hot Waters. There you will have free time for lunch, to stroll through the artisan market, or simply to relax.

In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and then our transport will take you back to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be taken back to your hotel to rest after this extraordinary day.
